The Agilent / HP 1630A Logic Analyzer performs trace measurements and can trace the flow of synchronous states in a microprogrammed state machine. The 1630 series can trace electrical activity at several points during a period of system operating time. The analyzer can perform both state and timing measurements together and interactively control the capture of information in each of these two functions. The unit can analyze the performance of code modules in software-intensive systems and the 1630 analyzer can be stand-alone or part of a system controlled through a standard HP-IB or a HP-IL interface bus.
