    Description

TBR)  Up for your buying consideration is this sparkling mint "One of a kind" 1870's Display Bottle for:
SIMON'S CENTENNIAL BITTERS / TRADE MARK.
Believed to have been made as a Display Bottle for the 1876 Centennial Exposition. This bottle in no way is an altered damaged bottle, it is precision made with an open base, believed to been mounted on some kind of base and displayed at the Exposition. Somehow over the years the bottle got separated from it's original base and now just the bottle remains.  I made another custom three tier wooden base, which 1st tier is a padded soft plug to safely hold bottle to base. It's all painted except one decal for the Centennial dates. Being there is no way to know what the original base may have looked like,  I did my best to make a base that would do it justice for the celebration Centennial it was to be used for.. This is a one of a kind, won't ever see another like it.. Condition is perfect mint, no trace of stain, as should be for a bottle never filled with contents.
