in Paris, has always lead the charge in high-quality period hat design.
This
superb
Chapeaux
wide-brim hat, is an example of the popularity sought by stylish American women into the
1940's
. Caramel-Cream colored, finely-woven straw is accentuated by brown-tan velvet band with off-set bow and two 'pearl' hat pins.

94
. Jackie was known in the family for having nice things that she valued and took care of, being a child of the depression. In fact, the "

!
It is free of stains, tears, hair oils, worn spots, or dirt
. I continued with her example and have preserved this hat as she would've wanted me too.

been passed around from seller to reseller or acquired in some estate sale,
and we can speak to it's history.  It has been carefully stored in a

environment.
