    Lovely G Washington’s Coffee Cup backstamped Baltes Mfg. Co. Distributors Sterns “Stakup” …. Irvington, New Jersey. Design on both sides of cup. Very heavy!
    3 ¾” diameter. 2 3/8” high.
    Shows use and knife marks in the cup well. No chips, cracks, or other damage.
    G Washington’s Coffee was originated in Central America in 1906 by somebody named G. Washington who sold the coffee in the USA. There old are coffee tins with this brand. Not sure what the original George Washington would have felt about somebody using the likeness of his signature to sell coffee! This cup likely dates from before 1930.
