    Description

    Knife Sheath, Fully Beaded Neck Style
    This is a fully beaded knife sheath using Czech seed beads.  It is beaded over tanned buckskin and has a 18 inch neck loop thong also from tanned deer. The case interior is hard, heavy leather to prevent the knife from cutting the sheath.  The sheath is then covered with  buckskin.  The sheath
    measures 6 1/2 inches x 2 1/2 inches.  The fringes are about 2 1/2 - 3 1/2 inches in length.  The background bead color is white. The geometric design is accented with red, orange, yellow, black, white and chestnut seed beads.
    NOTE: This one was made to look more old style by using rough instead of soft tanned buckskin and more uneven cuts in the fringe.
    This  piece is ready to use with your dance outfit or to decorate your office, den, etc.  It would look especially good with a patch knife.
