714B- **Price is for slab pictured- does not include the simple wood display table.
Slab is planed on one side. The opposite side is only skip planed to help take off the high areas. We did this to maintain more thickness.
Notice the amazing heartwood blending into the sapwood. Beautiful rustic figure/ tones.
Highly figured DIY rustic, artistic slab of Black Walnut.
The bark is naturally removed leaving a long sloping live edge with various figure/ insect trials and Branch figure along the edge.
It is approx 14-15 1/2 inches wide to the outside slopes/ edges.
It is just about 87 3/4 inches long.
It is about 1 1/2 inch thick.
It is a fantastic highly desirable Black Walnut rustic log slab. If you need additional picture angles of a certain area please let me know.
The photos show both sides.
Again- only one side shown is nicely planed- the opposite is only skip planed over the high points.
A light mist of water was applied for most of the photos to represent a finish.. You can better see the beautiful figure and tones.
These are beautiful rustic pieces with occasional chips, cracks, frayed edges, etc.
Please carefully consider if pieces this rustic will meet your needs.
There is no extra sanding. The moisture content is about 11% on our meter.
