Authentic Victorian Hat, Black, Flowers, Wired Lace, Netting, Multiple Jet Trims

Description

Charming little Victorian chapeau with many lovely elements. There is a looped, scalloped jet band around the rim, mostly hidden under the laces and flowers, more at the center, and two other separate pieces of jet trim. Portions of the lace are wired, and it all rests on sheer tulle on a wired frame, probably had ribbons to secure it at one time, or secured with a hat pin.  Overall in very good - excellent  condition for a roughly 150 year old hat, certainly wearable as found.
