Description

8" by 12" color print of  Alaska Airlines Convair 440 N3430 in March 1964.  Delivered new to Philippine Airlines in 1954 as a CV-340-42 it went to Braniff in April 1955 and flew with BN until 1961. It then went to Alaska Airlines as a CV-440 and flew for AS until December 1964.  It went on to fly for North Central Airlines and was converted to a CV-580 in 1969.  It remained in the fleet through the merger with Northwest and was retired in 1994.  It then went to Venezuela as YV-970C and flew on until 1999.
