3 1965/66 Plymouth brochures.  1965 Plymouth VIP concept car brochure.  5.25 x 8.5",  8 pages. This was Plymouth's auto show draw for 1965. All American manufacturers had them. Referred to as "Dream Cars" or "idea" cars, they were used to gauge public acceptance of possible future designs or products. This brochure is in excellent condition and has several black and white illustrations of the car. There is also text explaining the features of the car.   " The Roaring '65s"  8.25 x 11", 18 pages. The models are Fury/Belvedere/Valiant/Barracuda. Photos of all models and interiors. Also list exterior and interior dimensions for each series. Also has illustrations of all engines and availability chart. The funny thing is there are no power ratings for the engines. There is a 426, but not a Hemi.       "there are five ways to Let yourself go...Plymouth in '66"  8.25 x 11", 23 pages. The news this year was the VIP. This was Plymouth's answer to the Ford LTD and Chevy Caprice. It was a luxury oriented version of their fullsize car(Fury). The rest of the line remained the same. This brochure has illustrations of all models,exterior and interior. The midsize Belvedere had all new styling. The Fury and Valiant got typical new grilles, tail lights, and trim. There are interior and exterior dimensions and an engine spec chart, this time there are power ratings. The 426 became the 440. The 2 full line brochures are in very good condition.
